failure main

Hi, guys welcome back to our blog, today I want to talk about failure and what we should do after we fail. A lot of times we are afraid to pursue things in life because we are afraid of that failure. But I just want you to know that failure is normal and that failure is a part of the learning process.

How to Recover from Failure

I have seen so many people get literally frozen in fierce paths like they are so afraid to do something that they do nothing and, I don’t want that to be you. Trust me I’ve had my fair share of failures but I continue to grow and continue to progress and be successful because I just don’t let it stop me and I’ve learned to accept the fact that failure is a part of the process.

If you listen to a lot of millionaires and successful people and influencers, they will talk about and tell you that they have failed way more than they have succeeded.

So I have just basically learned to embrace that process, so if you are in a space right now where you’re just feeling like things are not going well for you, money is tight and, you need to try to implement some extra things to make money or you had a job and, you lost that job or you can’t find a job or you can’t figure out a side hustle or you know just figure out life or your finances or whatever it maybe you have had some failure in those areas.

I want to give you a few tips to help you to bounce back from a setback and recover from past failure.

The first thing You have to do is Get Over.

You just have to get over yourself, get over the feeling. It’s okay to give yourself a day or a week or even if you feel like you need a month to grieve that failure. You have to at some point get over it though and not continue to use that as space to just feel sorry for yourself. A lot of times we’re ashamed of the failure because we’re so worried about what other people think and what other people are going to say and how you’re going to look.

When you can learn to get over what people think about you, then you can fully exist in the space that you’re supposed to exist in and do the things that you’re supposed to do and fail using trial and error the way that you should without having to worry about people. Like there are things that I wanted to do a long time ago, then I was so worried about oh gosh they’re gonna think “I’m a cornball” oh they’re gonna think “I’m the strugglebus” or whatever.

But you know what you have to get over, that you know people will keep you broke busted and disgusted. If you’re not trying to be in that place the first thing that you have to do when you fail because is inevitable you will fail at something, at some time if you’re going to be successful. When you fail you have to learn how to get over it and recover quickly.

The next thing to do is to be Grateful.

Think about it like this, if you had never had that experience you will never have gotten the lesson out of it. And you must look back over it to find the lesson in it, you have to be grateful that you are where you are. You have to be grateful that you have another opportunity to try something different. You have to be grateful for the things you do have and the things you do have going for yourself and, the things that you are getting right and that are going right.

If you can dig deep and find that space of gratitude it will make that failure feel a little bit less sucky right. You have to dig and find that place of gratitude. I’ll never forget when I lost my job and I was working at a Accounting Firm and they laid so many people off and, I was going over and over in my head like why did they choose me to lay out like, I was taking that thing so personal.

I had basically built my life where people saw me as this person that was successful in this Accounting field that I was working in right. So I felt horrible when I lost that job, I was like oh my god was devastated. You know and honestly, it took me a few months to recover from that and I wished that back. Then I had the mindset that I have now about life and how things work out and especially when it comes to the corporate world and entrepreneurship and all that stuff.

I just wish I had the mindset that I have now and it would have taken me so long to get over it and get back up and continue to pursue the vision that I have for my life. So you have to find that space of gratitude and focus on that instead of focusing on the failure itself.

The next thing You have to Get some Goals.

Set new goals, take that experience to learn from it, and say okay. So this is what I’m about to do going forward, these are the things that I want to accomplish. Once you set those goals in place it’ll give you a new zeal and something new to pursue and so it’ll spark that fire on the inside of you.

So when you’re able to focus forward and not focus backward on something that has already occurred and that you cannot change. It’ll give you a renewed energy and, it’ll give you a different mindset and a new perspective and, you will find that gratitude that I was talking about earlier.

So get yourself some goals and focus on the future and moving forward instead of worrying about what’s behind you.

And the very last thing is You Gotta Go Harder.

At the end of the day, you gotta go hard for the things that you want to accomplish. If it’s important to you and you want to recover with like a huge success, you just got to go harder. Let that failure drive you to do better, let it motivate you to just keep going and keep working and hit those new goals with intensity.

And I heard somebody use this phrase to pursue it with reckless abandon right so go harder. Say you know what I might have felt that that but I’m about to put everything I have into these new goals right. So get yourself some goals and go hard.

Those are that’s it, those are my four tips on how to bounce back from a setback and to recover from failure. So thank you very much guys for being here until the end of the article. Do me a favor.
